Dynamics of the fractional quantum Hall edge probed by stroboscope measurements of trions

By using observations from pump-probe stroboscopic confocal microscopy and spectroscopy, we demonstrate the dynamics of trions fractional quantum Hall edge on order ∼1 ps. The propagation state excited by a voltage pulse is detected as temporal change in reflectance downstream probed optical pulses synchronized with pulse. resolution such measurements fast duration time probe (∼1 ps). This ultra-fast stroboscope measurement enables us to distinguish between normal mode excitation, known magneto-plasmon or charge density wave, other high-energy non-linear excitations. only experimental method available study edges makes it possible derive metric tensor gμν (1+1)=2-dimensional curved spacetime universe black hole analogs implemented edge.
